The Tainted Berserker is an almost inhuman foe. Typically a warrior of arms, the Tainted Berserker has become corrupted by some force, and now has to fight with his own inner demons in addition to his external opponents. Injury only seems to make him angrier, and once he’s lost control, he is an almost unstoppable force of destruction. However, he can be just as dangerous to his allies as his enemies.

Weapons and Armor proficiency: Tainted Berserkers gain no proficiencies with any weapon or armor.
Tainted Frenzy: A Tainted Berserker has a chance of entering an uncontrolled frenzy when injured or when he sees an allied injured. While in a state of frenzy, the Tainted Berserker cannot discern friend from foe and will attack the nearest target with his strongest possible attack. In this frenzied state, the Tainted Berserker gains +6 to Strength, +2 to Constitution and a +2 to Dexterity, but takes a -2 penalty on Will saves, as well as gaining the effects of the Diehard Feat for the duration. During a frenzy, the player loses control of the Tainted Berserker and can only make Will saves to end the frenzy. A frenzy is started when the player fails to successfully make a Will save, or opts not to make a Will save, against an increasing DC, which starts at 10. For every attack the Tainted Berserker sustains, the DC increases by 5. To end the frenzy, the player must succeed at a Will save against the frenzy DC, which may increase due to attacks, but also will decrease by 5 for every turn the Tainted Berserker goes without taking damage. When the frenzy ends, the Tainted Berserker is fatigued (-2 penalty to Strength and Dexterity, unable to charge or run) for the duration of the encounter. If a second frenzy is induced, the Tainted Berserker loses the fatigued effect for the duration of the frenzy, but becomes exhausted (-6 penalty to Strength and Dexterity, moves at half speed). The spell Calm Emotions can suppress the frenzy for the duration of the spell, but the Tainted Berserker will still need to make the Will save to completely regain control once the spell ends.
Supreme Cleave: At 2nd level and higher, a Tainted Berserker can take a 5ft step between attacks when using Cleave or Great Cleave. He is still limited to one such adjustment per round.
Iron Will: A Tainted Berserker gains the Iron Will feat, due to his constant battle with the taint within him.
Improved Power Attack: Beginning at 5th level, a Tainted Berserker gains a +3 bonus on his melee damage rolls for every -2 penalty he takes on his melee attack rolls when using the Power Attack feat (or +3 for every -1 penalty if wielding a two-handed weapon other than a double weapon). This benefit does not stack with the normal effects of Power Attack.
Contagious Frenzy: Beginning at 6th level, the Tainted Berzerker uncontrollable frenzy can be caught by any creature within 10ft, with a +5 bonus on their Will Save
Diamond Will: At 6th level, The Tainted Berserker has gained a +2 to his Will saves from his battle with the beast within himself. This effect stacks with the Iron Will feat.
Unstoppable Cleave: At 7th level and higher, the Tainted Berserker is no longer limited by how many 5ft steps he can take between attacks while using Cleave or Great Cleave.
Greater Frenzy: Starting at 8th level, the Tainted Berzerker’s bonus to Strength during a frenzy becomes +10 instead of +6
Adamantine Will: At 9th level, the Tainted Berserker gains a +2 to his will saves, from a near constant battle with the tainted beast within. This effect stacks with both Iron Will and Diamond Will.
Tireless Frenzy: A 10th level Tainted Berserker no longer becomes fatigued after the first frenzy, instead becoming fatigued after a second frenzy, and exhausted after a third.
Supreme Power Attack: A 10th level Tainted Berserker gaains a +2 bonus on his melee damage rolls for every -1 penalty he takes on his melee attack rolls when using the Power Attack feat (or +4 for every -1 penalty if wielding a two-handed weapon other than a double weapon). This benefit does not stack with the effects of Power Attack or Improved Power Attack.
